Saint Paul Catholic Classical School
Eighth graders at Saint Paul Catholic Classical
School use Terrapin Logo to learn programming. They also study
robotics and have combined the two to use Terrapin Logo to control an
experimental turtle robot. They are using commands that communicate
directly with the robot’s motors to develop Logo procedures that make it
move forward and back and turn left and right like the turtle on the
screen with the goal of making the learning process a standard part of
the curriculum.
