Greens Farms Students "Play Turtle" with Pro-Bot

Students at Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT use Pro-Bot robots as an introduction to programming and Logo. By "playing turtle" with Pro-Bot, students get an initial concrete, hands-on experience with programming.
According to Josh Burker, Lower School Academic Tech Coordinator, "Pro-Bot makes fundamental programming techniques more obvious while being powerful enough to allow more advanced, deeper discovery." As their skills progress, students especially enjoy using Pro-Bot to create colorful designs.
