Cover All Coding Options with Pro-Bot and Logo

Code online or off? Simple introduction or advanced challenge? With Pro-Bot and Logo, Terrapin offers all the learning options to teach coding to a wide range of students.

Pro-Bot is a standalone robot with Logo on board and a keypad to enter commands. No other device is needed. Use the arrow keys to code Pro-Bot just like Bee-Bot. Add numbers to introduce distance and angles. Insert a pen to draw.

Pro-Bot includes lights, sounds, sensors, subprocedures, and loops for students to explore as they gain coding skills. See Pro-Bot Robotics for a guide to the robot and Pro-Bot Lessons for classroom activities. Use the Pro-Bot Emulator to practice coding online with a range of backgrounds.

Prefer coding on the computer? Terrapin Logo provides a "no floor, no ceiling" programming environment. Students begin intuitively by moving and drawing with the "turtle" and soon take advantage of other drawing features, such as shapes, colors, backgrounds, and multiple turtles. From there, it is an easy step to explore music, data, math, and conditionals using tutorials and help designed for beginning Logo coders. Students soon become skilled programmers while having fun.

Pro-Bot and Terrapin Logo share the same concepts and commands and are excellent tools to teach coding. From the tactile feedback of Pro-Bot to the unlimited programming opportunities within Logo, Terrapin offers coding options that fit every student and classroom.

Terrapin's Tools for Exploring empower students to explore, investigate, and learn about the world around them. By using digital microscopes, metal detectors, robot sensors, data loggers, digital cameras, and the Tuff-Bot rugged robot that can go most anywhere, students can examine and interact with their environment.

Flexi-Scope and Easi-Scope digital microscopes open unseen worlds for children to explore. Easi-Detector metal detectors invite students to make discoveries and investigate material properties. Robot Sensors turn Bee-Bot and Blue-Bot into exploration tools!

With its oversized wheels and durable construction, Tuff-Bot robot goes beyond the confines of most classroom robots. Mount the Robot Camera that comes with Tuff-Bot and add a Data Logging Backpack to turn Tuff-Bot into a Mars rover for the schoolyard or playground.

Now through June 30, get free shipping on all Tools for Exploring and everything else in the same shopping cart!
