You want to add robots to use in your classroom, school, library, or STEM program. You know what you want and are eager to get started. But, how will you find the money to purchase them? Here are some ideas for ways to fund your program.

Funding Tips and Resources

• First, check with your school administration. They may know of funding that is currently available and can direct you to how to access the money.

• Businesses in your area may offer grants. Visit their websites to learn what funding might be available.

• Google or ask AI this question: What grants for STEM programs are available in [my state]?

Start with one robot as a pilot program. Then, document the learning that is taking place when students use it. How are their curriculum skills developing? How are their problem-solving skills evolving? Keep a journal of what students are doing with the robots to justify adding more to your program. This documentation can be key to gaining funding.
