Pro-Bot is designed for students in grades 3–8, though it can also be used with a wider age range. It is well-suited for use in a computer lab, STEAM program, robotics club, afterschool program, coding class, as well as library and research settings.

Pro-Bot is the perfect vehicle for developing computational thinking skills. At one Family Night event, a teacher observed one boy who kept returning to “try just one more thing” with Pro-Bot all evening. We are confident that some students will show their teachers new ways to code Pro-Bot!

• Yes! The Pro-Bot is free for you to keep. There are no strings attached.
• The bundle is free and so is shipping to US addresses. International shipments have a $45 shipping fee.
• The Pro-Bot Lessons free trial lasts 30 days, and if you decide to renew the license, the cost is just $75 a year.

How will I learn to use it?

• You will receive a series of short emails to get you started. All include step-by-step video tutorials.
• You can also return to this page to read the information about how to use Pro-Bot.
• Pro-Bot Lessons gets you started using the robot with students, and includes lessons and activities.

How can we get funding for more Pro-Bots if we like it?

• Some schools have had success raising funds at school athletic events. Read more.
• STEM grants are available in many states. Learn more.
• Some restaurant chains offer fundraising opportunities for schools. Learn more.
• Major business in your area may offer grants. Visit their website to learn what funding might be available.
• The key to gaining funding is to document the learning that is taking place when students use Pro-Bot. How are their math skills developing (especially in the area of geometry)? How are their problem-solving skills evolving? Keep a journal of what students are doing with Pro-Bot to justify adding these robots to your program.
