Let’s Build Some Towers!
All challenges can be done using either Logo or the new (free!) Logo Blocks coding environment.

When designing a building block for your tower, try to start and end the shape in the same place.
That makes it easier to use the shape in different places on the screen.

Can you build this tower of colorful straws? (In Logo, anything is possible!)
Challenge No. 176 - May 12, 2026
For Logo Blocks (Intermediate Mode), Logo, Pro-Bot, and *InO-Bot users.
Can you build a tower of triangles?
How many triangles do you see in this image? More than you might imagine! (Did you count 13?)
You could try to build this tower with playing cards. That takes lots of patience!
You could draw individual triangles in three rows, but there is a more efficient way to do it.

For Logo, Logo Blocks (Advanced Mode), Pro-Bot, and InO-Bot users
Can you draw a tower of squares?
You might find it easier to start the turtle where is shown in the picture below.
That way, you can simply go forward to the next square and be in the middle.
Can you figure out how to use variables?
