Take a ProBot Test Drive

Pro-Bot in Action video link

If you are looking to launch or expand a robotics program, the Pro‑Bot Test Drive lets you evaluate Pro‑Bot with students before making a broader purchasing decision. Terrapin offers this opportunity at no charge to qualified educators.

Perfect for students in grades 3–8, Pro‑Bot is a sophisticated robot disguised as a sleek yellow race car. Pro‑Bot is self-contained, with onboard controls and a built-in display, so it requires no other device or app. Pro‑Bot naturally expands skills developed with Bee‑Bot and Blue‑Bot, introducing precise angles, distances, loops, sensors, and hands‑on geometry through drawing.

The Test Drive includes a Pro‑Bot, Robot Pen Pack, and 30-day subscription to Pro‑Bot Lessons—provided at no charge with free U.S. shipping. The Pro‑Bot and Pen Pack are yours to keep after the Test Drive.

Pro‑Bot engages students while providing opportunities to teach coding, geometry, project design, problem-solving, and more. Terrapin provides guided activities and video tutorials to help you get started, evaluate Pro‑Bot, and share the results with colleagues and decision-makers.

Test Drives are limited, so preference is given to educators actively considering Pro‑Bot for broader use in their classroom, school, district, library, or program. If Pro‑Bot could be the next step after Bee‑Bot or a new addition to your robotics program, we invite you to apply.

New! Free 12-Part Self-Paced Course

Learn to Code, Learn to Think free email course

Learn to Code, Learn to Think is a free 12-part email course for those who want to learn the fundamentals of computational thinking through coding. Lessons arrive sequentially by email and participants can complete them at their own pace. Activities utilize free Terrapin coding tools so there is nothing to buy.

Beginning with the basics, each lesson introduces a programming concept, provides activities to practice it, and links to a web page with additional activities and challenges. The course includes 12 core lessons with four extra resource sections for continued learning.

The course goal is broader than training future programmers. By learning to code, participants strengthen the problem-solving, sequencing, precision, experimentation, discovery, evaluation, and creative thinking skills everyone needs in a world increasingly shaped by AI.

Bee‑Bot Insiders previewed Learn to Code, Learn to Think and responded positively via a survey. They rated the course "better than expected" and said they would recommend it to others.

"It is so comprehensive."

"I appreciate the scope and flow."

"It's just so perfectly simple and approachable."

Teachers and parents can use Learn to Code, Learn to Think themselves or guide students through the activities. It is open to everyone—even students—at no cost.
